Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of welding machines to produce quality parts on time.
Set up, adjust, and operate equipment based on instructions, prints, and route sheets.
Perform first piece inspections, ongoing quality tests, and record production data.
Make routine equipment adjustments to maintain standards and efficiency.
Conduct daily maintenance and upkeep of equipment and work area.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and grinders as needed.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include certification as a welder or equivalent, passing AWS certification tests, proficiency with measuring tools, and the ability to interpret SPC data.
Must be motivated, problem-solver, and capable of navigating HMI systems.
Continued employment depends on successful completion of required training and certifications.
