Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to perform MIG and stick welding on concrete truck barrels and related components. This position involves both welding and assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
Position: Welder (MIG & Stick) – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime on Fridays as needed
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and stick welding on concrete truck barrels and various truck components
- Assist with assembly of welded parts and finished products
- Operate air, power, and hand tools, including torches and grinders
- Read and follow work instructions to meet production and quality standards
- Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-reduction efforts
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–3 years of welding experience (MIG and stick required)
- Ability to pass an internal welding test
- Must supply own basic welding equipment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
- Capable of standing, bending, and crouching for extended periods (10+ hours/day)
- Steel-toed boots/shoes required
- High school diploma or GED
