Job Summary:
Ensures that orders are correctly labeled and staged on designated pallets and wrapped for carrier pickup.  Follows routing instructions, ensuring that cartons are appropriately received down the correct shipping lines, sealed, assembled, labeled, and wrapped.
Essential Duties:
  • Receive cartons down appropriate shipping line, create pallet label, scan, palletize cartons, build pallets correctly, hand wrap completed pallets
  • Lifts cartons on and off conveyor to palletize for carrier pickup Correct carton weight as needed
  • Utilize portable scanning device to update and palletize cartons
  • Print and attach additional shipping/customs documents as needed
  • Use hand or motorized pallet jack to transport pallets to machine wrapper
  • Machine wrap pallets, attach pallet labels, and stage for carrier pickup
  • Perform ongoing cleanup and empty trash at end of shift
