Pro Resources is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Parts Puller to join a hose and fitting shop team. This role is responsible for locating, gathering, and preparing parts for work orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in support of assembly and customer orders.
Read and interpret work orders, pick tickets, and part lists to determine required items
Locate and pull hose, fittings, adapters, and related components from inventory
Label and stage parts for assembly or for customer pickup and shipping
Check orders in the computer system to confirm required items, SKU numbers, and quantities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts bins and the shop floor
Assist with restocking and inventory management
Notify the supervisor of low stock or inventory discrepancies
Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures
Assist with basic shop tasks as needed, such as cleaning and unloading shipments
Required Skills/Knowledge
Experience picking and packing orders, mostly small parts (2–5 lbs.)
Basic computer skills to look up orders, items, and SKU numbers in the system
Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and take direction
Dependable and punctual
Skills/Knowledge Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of hose and fittings
Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, or distribution setting
Experience with inventory systems or barcode scanners
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
Stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift
Work primarily in a shop/warehouse setting with possible exposure to dust, lubricants, and moderate noise levels
Essential Functions
Able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, twist, squat, reach, read work orders and computer screens, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis for a full shift in a shop/warehouse environment.
