Customer Service Representative - Manufacturing
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | $19.50/hr to start, $20/hr after probation
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Customer Service Representative with manufacturing experience to join our team. In this role, you will interact directly with customers to process orders, resolve inquiries, and ensure a smooth and positive customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Receive customer orders via fax, email, EDI, and customer web portals
Process orders accurately using SAP
Manage and maintain customer accounts
Schedule customer deliveries based on production timelines and product lead times
Produce pick tickets and customer‑specific labels
Collect and enter data with accuracy and attention to detail
Communicate with customers by phone and electronically regarding orders, concerns, and product information
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Manufacturing experience is a MUST
Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Proficiency with relevant computer applications: SAP, EDI, Excel, Email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse customers
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
Strong organizational and data‑entry skills
Schedule & Compensation
Hours:
Monday-Friday
7:00 AM-4:00 PM
8:00 AM-5:00 PM
8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Starting Pay: $19.50/hr
After Probation: $20.00/hr
Reports To: Customer Service Supervisor
