2- Long Term Substitute Teachers

The Plymouth Joint School District is seeking qualified, enthusiastic, and student-centered educators to serve as Long-Term Substitute Teachers at Riverview Middle School during the 2026-2027 school year. These temporary positions provide an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while maintaining continuity of instruction for students.

Available Positions

Position #1

• Assignment Dates: September 1, 2026 - October 22, 2026
• Approximately 37 school days

Position #2

• Assignment Dates: Approximately September 8, 2026 - December 7, 2026
• Approximately 12 weeks

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily instruction following established lesson plans and curriculum.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student behavior expectations.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and school staff to support student learning.
• Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the classroom teacher.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Sustitute teaching license required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with middle school students, families, and staff.
• Experience teaching at the middle school level is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Compensation will be provided according to the Plymouth Joint School District''s long-term substitute pay schedule.
