1:1 Paraprofessional to provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to a high school student enrolled in the district's special education program, Park@PVR. Responsibilities include implementing instructional and behavior support plans, facilitating the student's access to the curriculum, fostering independence, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, and collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and other members of the educational team to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with disabilities in a high school setting required.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and supporting students with academic, social, and behavioral needs.
• Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or equivalent de-escalation/crisis intervention training preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
