Position Overview
We are seeking a
loving, enthusiastic 2-Year-Old Teacher to join our Farmhouse Family! The ideal candidate is dependable, creative, and passionate about early childhood education. You’ll work alongside a co-teacher to maintain routines, foster independence, and build positive relationships with families while creating a fun and caring classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for one-year-old children.
- Follow daily routines and classroom schedules with consistency and care.
- Implement lesson plans using Experience Early Learning’s Mother Goose Time Curriculum.
- Track developmental milestones and communicate daily progress to families.
- Use Brightwheel, our classroom communication app, to share updates, photos, and reports.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with your co-teacher and administrative team.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working with toddlers or in an early-childhood classroom (2-year-old experience preferred).
- Knowledge of child development and positive classroom management techniques.
- Warm, nurturing, and team-oriented personality with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable using technology, including tablets and classroom apps.
- CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
