    Position: RN - Rehab - Med/Surg

    Job Description:

    We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a temporary basis for a rehabilitation and medical/surgical unit in Omaha, NE. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and support to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and provide education to patients and their families.

    Responsibilities:

    - Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals

    - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

    - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

    - Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques

    - Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

    - Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

    - Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

    - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

    Qualifications:

    - Active RN license in the state of Nebraska

    - Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a rehabilitation and/or medical/surgical setting

    - BLS certification

    - Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

    Shift:

    - Night 6:45pm-7:15am
