Position Title: 2026-2027 Family Consumer Science Teacher
Brief Description: Provide instruction for students in grades 6 - 8 in the subject area of Family and Consumer Science. Provide ongoing monitoring of students progress, collaborate with the team, and meet the social-emotional and academic needs of middle school students.

The Ithaca City School District is an 11-district school system in grades 3-12. Please provide examples of how you have used or your vision for using digital technology in instruction. Also, please provide evidence of how you stay current with students digital world.
Required Qualifications:

• Possession of New York State certification in Home Economics or Family & Consumer Sciences or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment. • Licensed teachers from other states may qualify for reciprocity.

Salary Range: $32,291 - $75,191 (10-month full-time base) Based on 24-25 ITA Salary grid, new contract pending ratification.
