Position Description

Provide professional assistance under the supervision of the Deputy Athletic Director for Internal Operations and Community Partnerships

Weekly Hours: Maximum of 20 hours per week or 300 hours per semester

Compensation: Tuition Remission (9 credits per semester) / Room

Requirements: The position is for graduate students enrolled at Manhattan University that have been approved by Student Financial Services for approval

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management and day-to-day operations of Manhattan Universitys baseball facility.
  • Support revenue generation initiatives including facility rentals, camps, clinics, tournaments, special events, and community programming.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities that increase utilization of athletics facilities.
  • Assist with the development and execution of community partnership initiatives and external engagement opportunities.
  • Support financial tracking, reporting, and operational assessments related to facility usage and revenue generation.
  • Coordinate logistics for external events, rentals, and special programming.
  • Assist with vendor relationships, contract administration, and event execution.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify best practices and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with coaches, campus partners, and external organizations to maximize facility and program opportunities.
  • Support departmental strategic planning and special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • All athletics employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA and Metro Conference rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the appropriate parties

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Previous 1-2 years of experience in facility operations preferably in a campus setting or related field
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with event management, customer service, sales, or business development preferred.
