The commitment to the future of all students is evident in all classrooms in McCracken County Public Schools, a distinguished district. A leader in educational innovations, McCracken County Public Schools provides students with learning opportunities that reach beyond the classroom. McCracken County offers Project Lead the Way programs in pre-engineering and biomedical sciences in the districts secondary schools, providing students with rigorous, relevant education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
MCCracken County High School students participate in an Apple 11 computing initiative, providing all high school students with an Apple MacBook laptop computer. The high school offers 17 dual credit courses in partnership with WKCTC and Murray State University, as well as an Advanced Placement program with 28 different AP courses, including participation in AdvanceKentucky - a program dedicated to accelerating student success in AP courses. MCHS also offers opportunities for students to graduate with industry career certifications.
All McCracken County schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
