Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a TK-8 district located in North San Diego County. The District is recruiting for a qualified school counselor for the 2026-2027. As a member of the school counseling team, the school counselor provides a comprehensive counseling program for students; consults and collaborates with teachers, parents and staff to enhance the effectiveness in helping students, and provides support to other school educational programs. DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION: APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 195 Work Day School Year Calendar WORK SITE: District Wide WORK SCHEDULE: 7.0 hours/day BENEFITS: Benefit package includes employee and dependent health, dental and vision benefits, and paid sick leave. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Current/valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential: School Counseling, letter of introduction, resume, three letters of recommendation (preferably within the last year and at least one from a direct supervisor), and transcripts reflecting degree(s)/major(s) and postgraduate coursework. REQUIRED CREDENTIAL/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current/valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential: School Counseling. Out-of-State applicants must have a corresponding license and obtain the appropriate California Credential. Bilingual Spanish and teaching experience is desirable.
