POSITION: 2026-2027 Substitute Nurse

LOCATION: Delmar Middle & Senior High School

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid state license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Delaware.
• Certification requirements as established by the State Board of Education.
• Satisfactory Child Protection Registry.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Mantoux skin test/PPD documentation.
• Cooperative Attitude.
• Good oral and written communication and the ability to present information effectively
• The State of Delaware requires all public school employees to undergo a criminal background check (state and federal) to determine suitability for employment.
• Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory criminal background check, which is the responsibility of the employee.
• The State of Delaware requires new employees to be paid by direct deposit and to be part of a lag payroll system as conditions of employment.
• Additional qualifications and/or alternatives as deemed necessary by the Board of Education and Administration.

SALARY: As per State guidelines: $26.25 per hour.

ANTICIPATED DATE OF EMPLOYMENT: As needed throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
