This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position. Day-to-day substitutes work as needed in full day (8 hour) or half day (4 hour) shifts and generally do not exceed 4 days (32 hours) per week. Frontline Absence Management will be used to accept assignments as they become available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license is required. [Teacher (any stage, any level/subject). Teacher - Substitute (Short-Term or 5 year). Administrator. Pupil Services.]
Applicants who do not hold a current DPI license are welcome to apply to this position with the intent of obtaining a DPI Three-Year Short-Term Substitute License. Substitute license applicants must hold an Associate Degree or higher from an accredited institution. Applicants are encouraged to begin the DPI license application process at any time. Follow a plan of study which is consistent with the curriculum adopted by the school district.
Follow a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students.
Follows written plans for each day''s lessons.
Follows procedures needed to accomplish objectives for each lesson.
Follows meaningful assignments, including both guided and independent, to check for understanding of the objective.
Follow appropriate evaluation devices both to assess student learning and teaching effectiveness.
