    Description

    The School District of Beloit is seeking a passionate, student-centered professional to serve as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. This is a permanent, full-time position serving young learners with disabilities in inclusive and specialized educational settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to equity, inclusion, collaboration, and high-quality instruction for students with diverse developmental, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

    What You'll Do

    • Provide specialized instruction and support for students with disabilities.

    • Develop and implement IEPs aligned to student needs.

    • Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers.

    • Maintain compliance with IDEA and Wisconsin DPI requirements.

    • Support inclusive educational opportunities and behavioral interventions.

    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional learning.

    What You'll Need

    • Valid Wisconsin DPI License #1809 - Early Childhood Special Education or eligibility to obtain licensure.

    • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.

    • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Preferred:

    • Wisconsin DPI License #1808 preferred.

    • Experience supporting students with cognitive disabilities and developmental delays.

    • Experience implementing inclusive practices and co-teaching models.

    • Knowledge of RTI/MTSS processes.

    • Experience with behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports.

    • Familiarity with special education compliance procedures and documentation.
