Qualifications:
- Certification as a Teacher of Music is required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities
- Experience as a high school vocal music teacher
- Piano is preferred.
- Knowledge of curriculum modifications
- Demonstrate the ability to use digital equipment for word processing, data management, student information systems, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, communications, telecommunications, etc.
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
- Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.
