JOB DESCRIPTION
Benjamin Franklin is seeking staff members to support the implementation of the 2026-2027 Annual School Plan by coordinating and facilitating our Title I Mentoring Program. This program pairs teachers with students to build personal learning relationships that promote academic growth, emotional support, and a stronger sense of school connection. The goal is to help students feel more supported by developing a positive rapport with a trusted adult. Teachers will connect with the student's homeroom teacher to identify focus areas for skill development. Mentoring sessions take place during lunch. Students will be recommended by their classroom teacher, and families will be asked to sign a permission form. A bi-weekly log of each session will be completed and shared.
This is an annual stipend position of $250.00. The selected staff member is expected to meet with their assigned mentor group twice per month throughout the school year.
