The Greendale School District is accepting applications for a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with special needs in an alternative school setting. Students in the RESET programming are attending school in an alternative setting, "school within a school". Students in the RESET program are working on emotional/behavioral modifications in a smaller classroom setting. Paraprofessionals support their academic and behavioral needs within the classroom setting, working alongside the teacher and another paraprofessional. This specialized programming is tailored to meet students needs in a classroom setting. Qualified candidates will have experience working with students with Emotional/Behavioral needs.
This is a 6.75 hour per day position (7:30am - 2:45pm, including 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break on student school days). This position is eligible for full-time benefits, to include Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Vision Insurance and Wisconsin Retirement System benefits.
