Purpose Statement
This position specifically requires a higher degree of work engagement and experience in administrative compliance and student records management and projects. Projects will include working with OCR reporting and data retention schedules. Support the educational process with specific responsibilities for organizing, implementing and validating all student information and state reporting through a complete data life cycle. This job reports to Director of Information Technology or Designee
Essential Functions
Conducts the implementation and maintenance of student information collection and reporting for the purpose of ensuring availability, integrity, validity and security of services to authorized users.
Stay current and share relevant laws, regulations, compliance and practices regarding student information and state reporting.
Prepares written materials, and other media, for the purpose of documenting activities, providing reference and/or conveying information.
Provide and reconcile data along with summary reporting to a variety of inquiries among a variety of stakeholders.
Work with district information technology representatives to support best practices.
Communicate effectively between school and department level and district level personnel to provide resources and support with information technologies.
Manage projects and programs related to information technology responsibilities.
Assist and evaluate implementation of district level initiatives that deliver and support uses of information technology.
Assumes lead, co-lead and/or as a team member for the purpose of carrying out duties on

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
SKILLS are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to routinely upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: utilizing pertinent network, application, operating system monitoring and troubleshooting software; adhering to safety practices; planning and managing projects; preparing and maintaining accurate records.
ABILITY is required to schedule activities and/or meetings; gather and/or collate data; and consider a number of factors when using equipment. Flexibility is required to independently work with others in a wide variety of circumstances; work with data utilizing defined and similar processes; and utilize a wide variety of equipment under a variety of conditions for multiple purposes. Problem solving is required to analyze issues and create action plans. Problem solving with data may require independent interpretation; and problem solving with equipment is moderate to significant. Specific ability based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: setting priorities; establishing effective relationships; being attentive to detail; communicating with diverse groups; conveying technical information to non-technical audiences; work in flexible shifts, including but not limited to evenings, nights, weekends and holidays; working nonstandard hours.

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job''s functions require the following physical demands: slight lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, work station and desk/table work. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 20% walking and standing. The job is generally performed under office-based temperatures and in a generally hazard free environment.
Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Job related experience with student information systems and Arizona reporting.
