Position Overview: Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time School Social Worker to join our team for the 2026 2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support students academic, emotional, and social development in a collaborative school environment.
Requirements:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
School Social Work endorsement required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for supporting student success and well-being
Position Details:
Schedule: Full-time, aligned with school calendar
Start Date: Beginning of the 2026 2027 school year
Compensation: Starting at $55/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Assist in developing and implementing IEP goals and interventions
Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation
