The Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPS) is seeking qualified and dependable substitute teachers to provide instructional support in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Essential job functions for GBAPS substitute teachers include delivering instructions using lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher while maintaining a safe and orderly classroom that supports learning. Additionally, supervise students during instructional time, transitions and assigned duties while following District and school policies. Clasroom activities and notes should be documented and left for the returing teacher to review. GBAPS substitute teachers are expected to communicate effectively with students, staff and administrators.
Required Qualifications
Certification:
Valid Wisconsin DPI Substitute Teacher, Provisional or Lifetime Educator license
Education: Minimum of an associate''s degree from an accredited college or university
Training: Successful completion of Wisconsin DPI endorsed substitute teacher training program (Training programs offered at CESA7 or ask about the next GBAPS training) OR enrolled in a WI educator prep bachelor''s degree program, completed credits for junior status and completed 15 hours of classroom observation
Compensation: $190 per full day assignments, increased compensation for long term substitute assignments. Insurance benefits are not available for this position. All GBAPS staff, including substitute staff, and anyone living in their household have access to Advocate Aurora Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

May work outside and dress for WI weather
