As the Fundraising VISTA, you'll build capacity by improving and advancing fundraising strategies, focusing on grants and individual donors, to enable Habitat for Humanity build and repair more homes in Dane County. PROSPECT RESEARCH & GRANT WRITING: Research potential grant opportunities, corporate sponsorships, family foundations, and individual donors. Opportunity to write grant applications, if desired. INDIVIDUAL GIVING: Focusing on annual fund strategies, work with the development team to implement fundraising best practices. DATABASE PROJECT: Learn Blackbaud Raiser's Edge and prepare data for migrating to a new database. Benefits include $500/month housing stipend, 30-hour work week, hybrid schedule (after a month), Association of Fundraising Professionals Membership, and professional development opportunities.
