By expanding access to affordable housing and critical repairs, Lake-McHenry Habitat for Humanity helps families achieve financial stability and builds stronger, healthier communities. To ensure residents across two counties can access our critical programs and services, we need more sustainable organizational systems and community outreach processes. The Operations Outreach VISTA will document and refine all outreach workflows-including events, partnerships, and interdepartmental communications-to reduce operational friction and implement sustainable solutions. The VISTA will document key processes, resources, and best practices across outreach and operations; develop a shared digital repository accessible to all staff; and collaborate with leadership to reduce workflow inefficiencies. They will also create templates and SOPs to streamline data organization and reporting.
