The Traffic Division of the City of Mitchell is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of street signs, street lights, and traffic signals. This crew paints the lines on the streets and municipal parking lots.
The crew is also responsible for installing barricades and fences for special events.
The Traffic Division is accepting applications for a seasonal Traffic Assistant to begin in early spring and work through October. Hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Wage is $14.96 per hour.
The person in this position will be working in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions including cold temperatures and high heat.
Position is open until filled.
Qualifications
