2026 - Special Education Teacher - Elementary (Long Term Sub)

The Medford Township Public Schools is seeking compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Special Education Teacher to fill in as a Long Term Substitute to work with students in Elementary School. This teacher will work collaboratively with support staff and related service providers to deliver high-quality, individualized instruction aligned to each student's IEP. The ideal candidate will have experience with differentiated instruction, assistive technology, and behavior management, and a deep understanding of the needs of students with complex learning and physical challenges.

This position is a long-term substitute position hired through our hiring partner, ESS, and does not accrue seniority or tenure.

Requirements

Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6 (NJDOE #1001), or

Preschool through Grade 3 (NJDOE #1013)

Strong knowledge of IEP develpoment, implementation and progress monitoring
