Responsibilities:

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual  who can work independently and as part of a global team, focusing on a wide range of HR related topics. The successful candidate will provide analytical, operational and project support to the Global Business Partner team, working across a range of core HR disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Performance management, headcount planning, attrition management and workforce analytics

  • Talent development, training programs, retention, succession planning and promotion processes

  • Employee relations support, orientation, onboarding and offboarding processes and exit policies

  • Firmwide HR programs and learning initiatives

  • Examples of specific responsibilities may include:

    • Providing general support to the HR Business Partner team on day‑to‑day tasks and projects

    • Helping coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities by preparing materials, tracking checklists and updating records

    • Entering and updating employee information in HR systems with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality

    • Assisting in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets and presentation materials

    • Supporting data pulls and tracking related to headcount, training participation and employee programs

    • Helping schedule meetings, trainings and interviews and maintaining calendars or distribution lists as needed

    • Assisting with maintenance of HR resources and templates

    • Providing administrative support for immigration- and visa‑related processes under close supervision

    • Answering routine HR-related questions by directing inquiries to the appropriate resource

    • Working closely with team members across HR (Business Partners, Recruiting, Operations, Compensation and Analytics) to complete shared tasks and learn how different HR functions collaborate

    • Gaining familiarity with internal HR policies, processes and best practices through hands‑on support work

Qualifications:

PJT Partners seeks to hire a dynamic individual who is highly motivated, curious, intelligent and a proven self-starter. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively and a positive attitude. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure; problem solve and make adjustments as needed

  • Ability to work independently as well as a desire to work in a team environment

  • Demonstration of a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism

  • Willingness to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and hiring platforms (Workday experience is a plus)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Requirements:

To be considered for the 2026 Summer Analyst role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate* student  

  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027

  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
