Program Goal

Summer Partners for Language and Learning SPELL provides Multilingual Learners theme-based language development experiences in the morning and enrichment activities provided by community partners in the afternoon.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising children in informal and formal settings • Ability to support children in learning activities • Ability to supervise children in recreation activities • Ability to collaborate and function effectively as a team member • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children • Reliable and ability to maintain a schedule • Bilingual/multilingual and ability to communicate with diverse students and families

Terms of Employment

• Seasonal • Yearly Appointment • Summer School Program Schedule: July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026 • Rate: $35.00 per hour • Monday through Friday, 8 am - 1 pm

Professional Development

SPELL program professional development for all SPELL staff will take place in the last week on June or first week of July.
