Responsibilities:

The Washington, DC OR New York office of Epstein Becker & Green is accepting applications for qualified law second year students to be considered for our 2027 Summer Associate Program in the Firm’s Health Care & Life Sciences practice.  

The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated interest in health law through education and/or experience, should be in the top 1/3 of law school classes, have law journal experience, and have excellent communication and writing skills.

 

Summer associate positions at EBG are practice specific, and EBG does not rotate summer associates through various departments.

EBG’s Summer Associate Program is structured to provide a comprehensive picture of the practice at the firm as well as significant training in substantive areas of our core practices – Employment, Labor & Workforce Management, Health Care & Life Sciences, and Litigation and Business Disputes. We strive to make our Summer Associate Program our primary source of new associates. Summer associates are assigned a broad range of projects that otherwise would be performed by junior associates. Additionally, summer associates get the opportunity to work on client projects, including opportunities to be on client calls and to sit in on client meetings; pro bono projects, such as attending a pro bono intake clinic; and client development projects, including coauthoring articles and client alerts and assisting with presentations.  To learn more about Epstein Becker Green's Summer Associate Program, please click here.

The expected weekly compensation for this position is $3,555.

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
