2027 BOLT Intern - IT (Colorado Springs, CO)

What We Are Looking For:

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. What You Will Do:

Working as an Intern in Kinder Morgan’s Application Development department, you will work in a team environment to deliver solutions using proper techniques and presentation while keeping in mind the hardware/software limitations, desired response times and system capabilities.

 

Some additional responsibilities include coding, testing, documentation, demonstrations, reporting, and process improvements. You may use tools such as Power BI, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and ADO Dev Ops while applying programming languages and skills in VB.NET, C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET, HTML 5, JavaScript, or T-SQL to accomplish these tasks. 

What You Need:

• Working towards Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related degree
• Experience in Winforms, .NET and MS SQL is recommended
• Individuals must be team players and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Entering either the sophomore, junior or senior year of college. Senior students must be graduating in December 2027 or later to be eligible. 

Work location will be Colorado Springs, CO or other Kinder Morgan locations could be considered, if more appropriate, based upon the hire of the successful candidate.
