The Experience

In an ever-changing retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Customer Development team at Colgate. Our internship is designed for students passionate about pursuing a career in sales with a global consumer goods company. Our sales teams are highly collaborative with a focus on cultivating strong customer relationships and using analytics, insights, innovative thinking to win with our Customers and deliver growth

• Shopper Marketing
• Account Management
• Category Management
• Cross-functional partnerships
• Building superior customer (retailer) relationships
• Balancing sales in ecommerce, digital, and in store at major retailers

• Skills You'll Build- Throughout the summer you will strengthen your analytical skills, build financial acumen, work with retailer and market data to solve real world business needs, and learn the essentials of storytelling when building a narrative.
• Relocation stipend for transportation and housing- We know from experience that while exciting, it can be challenging to pick up and move. To help make the transition easy, we provide relocation support for housing, travel and transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or co-op experience in sales, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or retail analytics.
• Proven adaptability in fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with category management principles, e-commerce metrics, or financial acumen.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation of Spring 2028.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze datasets and translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Accordingly, all applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and must not require the Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $22.00 - $26.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
