Job Summary

The Internship/Co-op Experience

Our internship/co-op program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle. Interns/Co-ops are fully integrated into their teams and entrusted with meaningful projects aligned to key business priorities. Throughout the program, you will make valuable contributions while participating in a comprehensive intern/co-op experience that includes professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and meaningful engagement with leaders and mentors to support your growth.

Remote Work Qualifications

• Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
• Access to a home router and modem.
• A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
• A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
• The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
• Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, and WY).

We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to build full-stack solutions using web, mobile, and/or desktop technologies in a real-world, enterprise-scale e-commerce environment.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and relational databases, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Create, optimize, and maintain automated test suites to help ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to stay connected with your team and track project progress.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following best practices and development standards.
• Conduct code reviews and receive feedback to improve your coding skills and practices continuously.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems across the full technology stack, gaining hands-on problem-solving experience.
• Contribute to projects that meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability standards while learning how real enterprise systems operate.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this experience, you will:

• Gain hands-on full-stack development experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and SQL.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and C#.
• Develop real-world database skills, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to enhance development efficiency and code quality.
• Receive direct mentorship and technical guidance from experienced engineers.
• Contribute to production-level, enterprise-scale systems in an Agile environment.
• Strengthen problem-solving, debugging, testing, and technical communication skills.
• Deepen your understanding of scalable architecture, best practices, and maintainable software design.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

Are you eager to gain hands-on experience building real-world software? We are seeking rising undergraduate juniors and seniors and graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field to join our internship program.

As an intern/co-op, you'll work alongside the team, contribute to rewarding projects, and develop skills that will set you up for a long-term career in technology.

You''ll be a great fit if you have:

• Experience with C# and object-oriented programming.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of relational databases and hands-on SQL experience.
• Front-end skills with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or React (preferred).
• Foundational knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote Agile/Scrum environment.
• Availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
• Prior internship, co-op, or relevant professional experience is a plus.
