Evercore seeks to hire an Analyst for its Restructuring & Debt Advisory Team in New York City.Primary Responsibilities: Evercore's differentiated approach to advisory provides Analysts with the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming transactions around the world. The small transaction team structure creates a strong platform for Analysts to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. As part of the team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments including: in-court and out-of-court restructurings and recapitalizations, exchanges, tenders, and other liability management transactions, distressed M&A transactions and non-syndicated capital raising. As a member of the team, Analysts will be responsible for tasks including: preparing for and attending client meetings, financial modeling, resolving complex accounting issues, financial statement and credit document analysis, valuation analysis, industry analysis and due diligence.Analysts will be ambitious, self-directed, creative and resourceful. Candidates will be passionately interested in a career in investment banking, intellectually curious and eager to learn. We are seeking an academically accomplished candidate with the ability to multitask.
