2027 Software Engineer Intern Description As an intern with Textron, you'll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. Responsibilities: + Work with senior software engineers to develop, design, configure, test, and document software solutions based on product manager requirements. + Assist members of the ENG department in both daily activities and special projects to learn and gain experiences related to the function and its role in achieving business objectives. + Work within defined project timelines to complete tasks according to project schedule. + Follow agile processes in compliance with TSV's Agile methodology and participate in daily scrum meetings, and sprint retrospectives. + Gather statistics and prepare reports on the status of projects for discussion with management and team members. + Determine, develop, and maintain user manuals and guidelines. + Gain exposure to the business needs by developing and implementing processes and new technologies Why You'll Love Interning at Textron This internship is more than a summer experience - offering mentorship, training, and meaningful, hands-on work that helps you build confidence, develop new skills, and take real steps toward your career goals.
