The Internship Program at BCBSM is designed to enhance the skills and abilities of young professionals as well as to identify and attract future talent for our organization. The Epidemiology/Biostatistics intern will support the Care Delivery Analytics team by employing advanced statistical methods/machine learning for analyzing population health data and trends, developing claims-based disease case definitions, designing population-health provider performance metrics, and creating actionable reports/data visualizations for both internal and external stakeholders.
Pursuing a bachelor's or master/doctorate degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, Health Informatics or a related field.
