  • Writing employee-centric content for company intranet, newsletters, and memos.
  • Drafting press releases, building media lists, and monitoring coverage for corporate announcements and campaigns.
  • Helping to develop and schedule content for HarperCollins's corporate LinkedIn channels, and tracking how posts perform.
  • Designing basic graphic assets in Canva for social campaigns, announcements, and initiatives.
  • Drafting congratulatory letters to authors who hit the New York Times bestseller list.
  • Researching and writing projects spotlighting HarperCollins milestones and authors.
  • Pitching in on content planning, special projects, and day-to-day team support.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be available to work in our NYC office from Monday – Thursday for a total of 28 hours per week, from June 7 – August 12, 2027. Compensation for this internship is $18 per hour.
  • Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to 1 year of work experience.

  • Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program.
  • A passion for books is highly valued!
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong writing, proofreading, and copyediting abilities.
  • Energetic, self-reliant, and able to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a creative, resourceful mindset.
  • Coursework or interest in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field is a plus; all majors welcome.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate effectively with leadership.
