The Brown & Sharpe Screw Machine Set-up operator position is a temp-to-hire role available on 1st shift from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday in Bensenville, IL.
- Responsibilities include operating screw machines to produce high-quality precision parts such as screws, mounts, glides, knobs, and tooling components.
- Requires technical skills in tooling, setup procedures, reading blueprints, calipers, and technical drawings. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.
- Physical requirements include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50lbs, and performing repetitive tasks. During downtime, tasks like cleaning may be assigned.
- Shift involves approximately 10-hour days, with pay starting at $15/hour, negotiable based on experience.
