What Youll Do
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery while maintaining aseptic techniques
- Set up the Operating Room by organizing instruments and supplies according to the specific case
- Maintain sterile fields and pass instruments to surgical team members, including complex specialties like CVOR and Neurosurgery
- Transport patients to and from the OR, position them appropriately, and care for biological specimens
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams across various specialties, including Transplants, Robotics, and more
- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and infection control policies and procedures
- Support perioperative teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
What You Need
Required:
- Certified Surgical Technologist credential or LVN/LPN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience, including CVOR and Neurosurgery cases
- Ability to scrub in at least 3 specialties, including neurology and transplant surgeries
Preferred:
- Experience in General, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, ENT, and Vascular surgeries
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work 10-hour days
