What You’ll Do

• Provide routine and complex labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a busy hospital setting
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medication administration, and care plans accurately
• Assess patient needs and provide education to patients and families
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal and maternal emergency protocols as needed
• Support long-term patient care goals and adapt to evolving clinical situations

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications from AHA
• At least 1 year of recent labor and delivery or perinatal RN experience
• Specialty certifications such as NCC C-EFM or AWHONN Intermediate FHM (preferred)

Preferred:

• Perinatal RN residency or recent work experience in a similar setting
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
