What Youll Do:
Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients
Prepare patient skin and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
Transport and position patients for surgery
Identify and care for biological specimens
Set up operating rooms with instruments and supplies
Scrub in with proficiency across multiple specialty areas, including transplant, open heart, urology, neurology, titanium rib, robotics, etc.
Pass instruments and assist physicians during surgeries
Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols
Monitor and control the surgical environment
Follow facility policies for instrument sterilization and sanitation
Adapt patient care to meet the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental needs of patients
What You Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program
BLS (AHA) certification
2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Valid Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license
