What Youll Do
- Circulate in the Operating Room for surgical specialties including ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, GYN, and Plastic Surgery
- Provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care independently
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vitals, and assist with anesthesia, surgical procedures, and sterile technique
- Document patient history, medications, and all care provided
- Administer medications and treatments using approved protocols
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-op care
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare providers
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Texas or compact license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of circulating OR nursing experience in surgical specialties preferred
- Ability to manage multiple cases with varying start times
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
