ABILITY TO WORK ON YOUR OWN OR IN A TEAM
PROFICIENT IN SHOP MATH AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS
ABILITY TO USE SHOP TOOLS SUCH AS GRINDER BAND SAW CALIPERS PLASMA CUTTER OXY-ACETYLENE TORCH ETC. IS PREFERRED
ABILITY TO DETERMINE MATERIAL TYPES AND GAUGES
POSSESS A KEEN SENSE OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL
POSSESS EFFECTIVE WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SHILLS
ABILITY TO REGULARLY LIFT AND/OR MOVE UP TO 30 LBS FREQUENTLY LIFT AND/OR MOVE UP TO 50LBS
DUTIES:
WELD MILD STEEL STAINLESS STEEL OCCASIONALLY ALUMINUM ACCORDING TO BLUEPRINTS
INSPECT WELDED PARTS AGAINST BLUEPRINTS
PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
MUST PERFORM ALL DUTIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH OSHA AND WISHA REQUIREMENTS
FOLLOW WRITTEN AND VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS OR JOBS
OPERATE FORKLIFT
KEEP WORK ENVIRONMENT CLEAN SAFE AND ORDERLY
COMMUNICATE TO MANAGEMENT ABOUT MACHINERY AND QUALITY ISSUES AS THEY ARISE
