What You’ll Do

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures within your scope of practice
• Provide support to other imaging technologists as needed to keep patient flow moving smoothly
• Ensure exams are scanned and correctly stored in PACS
• Participate in QA and support ongoing safety and technical improvements
• Assist with troubleshooting by addressing basic maintenance, image processing issues, and image archiving system concerns
• Adapt patient assessment and imaging approach to meet the needs of pediatric patients
• Follow PACS downtime procedures and escalate issues appropriately

What You NeedRequired

• CT modality certification:CT by ARRT or NMTCB
• State licensure (Texas):MRT by TMB
• BLS:AHA only
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program (or an accepted/approved equivalent)
• Experience:Basic computer experience required

Preferred

• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital/clinical setting
• Experience with imaging/PACS workflows such as Epic, Sectra, and CT/x-ray technologies (e.g., Canon CT, Siemens x-ray equipment)
