What Youll Do
Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures within your scope of practice
Provide support to other imaging technologists as needed to keep patient flow moving smoothly
Ensure exams are scanned and correctly stored in PACS
Participate in QA and support ongoing safety and technical improvements
Assist with troubleshooting by addressing basic maintenance, image processing issues, and image archiving system concerns
Adapt patient assessment and imaging approach to meet the needs of pediatric patients
Follow PACS downtime procedures and escalate issues appropriately
What You NeedRequired
CT modality certification:CT by ARRT or NMTCB
State licensure (Texas):MRT by TMB
BLS:AHA only
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program (or an accepted/approved equivalent)
Experience:Basic computer experience required
Preferred
1 year of CT experience in a hospital/clinical setting
Experience with imaging/PACS workflows such as Epic, Sectra, and CT/x-ray technologies (e.g., Canon CT, Siemens x-ray equipment)
