Were seeking a dedicated Peds Audiologist to join our dynamic team on a travel basis, providing critical diagnostic and rehabilitative services to pediatric patients across various locations. What Youll Bring to the Role:
- Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD) from an accredited program.
- Active Audiology Licensure in Texas.
- Certification through ASHA or ABA.
- BLS certification (AHA only).
- 0-3 years of experience; pediatric experience or externship preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills in pediatric audiology, including experience with visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, and auditory brainstem response testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with children and their families.
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Experience with hearing aids, cochlear implants, and associated rehabilitative services.
- Familiarity with community resources for children and families.
- Bilingual abilities or additional languages.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctorate in Audiology (AuD).
- Pediatric audiology experience, including externships or rotations.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed to different clinic sites.
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
