**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated **Behavior Technician** to support K-12 students with special needs in a school-based setting. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teachers, school professionals, and behavioral specialists to promote positive learning environments and help students meet their educational and behavioral goals.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide educational and behavioral support to students with special needs
+ Implement behavior intervention strategies as directed by school and behavioral professionals
+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet individualized student goals
+ Foster a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment
+ Participate professionally in student-related meetings and activities
**Position Details**
+ **Setting:** School-based (K-12 population)
+ **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
+ **Weekly Hours:** Approximately 32 hours
+ **Timekeeping:** MaxView Timeclock
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience (preferred)
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
**Interview & Onboarding Process**
+ **Interview Type:** In-person preferred
+ **Fingerprinting costs will be reimbursed by Amergis**
**Compensation**
+ **Pay Rate:** $20 per hour
