High school diploma or GED Certificate from the State

Clear & Valid Texas drivers license

Certification: Maintain a Level III Armed Security Guard License from a Training Academy certified by the Texas DPS on Private Security

Certification: Maintain DPS LTC Card Score of 90%

Certification: Maintain DPS School Safety Certification

Other Required Qualifications:

Provide and maintain proof of passing a psychological exam for Law Enforcement/Armed Guards within the last six months or as needed

Provide and maintain Negative drug test results

Provide and maintain Proof of Firearm Qualifications of 90%, by a cerified firearm ranger instructor (LTC/Police Instructor)

Maintain Gun Safety Training

In addition to any training pass mandated courses by the State or District

Will be provided by the District: Description Primary Purpose:

Under general supervision, provide security and protection for students, staff and visitors and prevent property loss due to theft and vandalism. Application Procedure Position: Armed Security Guard (PG 404)
