QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalency.
- Have an Associates Degree or higher, OR at least 48 college level semester credits to qualify.
- Working knowledge of effective methods of dealing with children.
- Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
- Must hold a valid NC Drivers License and be able to acquire a CDL license upon request.
APPLICANT MUST UPLOAD
- Legible copy of a college transcript showing either degree awarded or at least 48 college level semester credits completed. (Prerequisite courses will not be counted).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports classroom reading and mathematics instruction.
- Conducts learning exercises with individuals and small groups of students.
- Maintains required records: student progress, assessment results, tutoring hours, etc.
- Follow a daily structured academic schedule.
- Serves as team player and role model for other employees in the organization.
- Demonstrates a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Supports and exhibits organizational core values: caring, respect, integrity, responsibility, high expectations, being customer driven, and valuing fairness.
- Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with parents, staff, and community leaders.
- Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of: kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
