The VISTA will be part of the 26-27 Coach Across America national VISTA cohort of 64 members. This VISTA role at Heart of Los Angeles focuses on building organizational capacity to better serve youth and families. The member will enhance program visibility by improving outreach materials, updating bilingual resources, and creating a monthly family newsletter informed by engagement data. They will expand storytelling through impact stories and testimonials. The role also strengthens community partnerships by maintaining a database, deepening existing relationships, and developing partner toolkits to support referrals and collaboration. Overall, the position emphasizes leadership development, communication strategy, and sustainable systems that increase community engagement, program enrollment, and long-term impact.
