Qualifications:
  • Must have an Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation License for a CSN
  • Knowledge of alternate educational settings, child development and
    exceptional communication skills.
Role Overview:
As a School Nurse (CSN) you will, provide primary health care and emergency services to students and staff, promote wellness, and serve as a health resource within the school community. This role supports student success by addressing health-related barriers to learning.

Job Details:
  • Schedule: 10 hrs per month- CSN can manage around flexible schedule- partial remote opportunity (60 percent remote / 40 percent in-person)
  • Forms and plans can be sent for review, med storage; once familiar you can visit every campus once per month.
  • Dates: 8/13/2026-6/25/2027
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care.
  • Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.G., asthma, diabetes, seizures).
  • Conduct contact tracing and illness follow-ups.
  • Support individualized health plans for students with special needs.
  • Maintain accurate student health records.
  • Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies.
