Requirements WISD INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY!

Education/Certification:

Associates degree, two years of study at an institution of higher education (defined as completion of 48 semester hours or equivalent trimester hours) of college course work or have met formal academic assessment as required by the Every Student Succeeds ACT (ESSA)

Valid Texas educational aide certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills

Ability to work well with children

Ability to shelve books following district cataloging system

Respect of both students and teachers

Efficient organization and able to follow assigned procedures

Ability to speak standard English, to read fluently, and to promote an appreciation for literature among students

Experience:

Some experience working with children Description Primary Purpose:
